@ 25 The Children of Israel were struck by a thunderbolt for their disbelief 2:55-56


2:55 And when you said to Moses, 'We will not believe in you until we see Allah openly,' a thunderbolt struck you whilst you were looking.
# وَإِذْ قُلْتُمْ يَا مُوسَى لَن نُّؤْمِنَ لَكَ حَتَّى نَرَى اللَّهَ جَهْرَةً فَأَخَذَتْكُمُ الصَّاعِقَةُ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْظُرُونَ 55
2:56 Then We raised you from your death, so that you might give thanks.
# ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَاكُم مِّنْ بَعْدِ مَوْتِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ 56
